As a Business Analyst (BA), you will be responsible for gathering requirements by analyzing existing code and documentation and compiling them into a System Requirement Specification (SRS). You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements, design and write Test Suites, perform System Integration Testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system functionality.
Responsibilities:System Analysis & Documentation:Analyze the current system behavior to understand functionalities and workflows.Document findings in a System Requirement SpecificationsConduct workshops with clients to ensure alignment.Testing & Issue Resolution:Develop a Test Suite designed to validate the system based on the SRS.Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) to ensure system behavior matches expected functionality.Investigate and analyze defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.Document SIT results.Log defects and work with developers on solutions.User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support:Assist users in executing UAT, ensuring that test scenarios are well understood.Address user concerns and provide clarifications on system behavior.Coordinate with developers to resolve issues identified during UAT.Communication & Collaboration:Present findings and behavior in a clear and structured manner.Coordinate between clients and developers, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.Provide recommendations for improving system functionality.
Qualifications:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and client management abilities.Ability to analyze system behavior and document it in a structured format.Experience in creating SRS and Test Suites.Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).Basic understanding of Java is a plus, as it will help in analyzing system logic and troubleshooting issues.Strong attention to detail and the ability to execute SIT and UAT support effectively.
