Role Description
The Human Resource Manager is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives. This role oversees two key HR divisions. Transactional HR comprises Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, and Employee Labor Relations. Transformational HR includes Training & Development, Performance Management, and Organizational Development. The Manager ensures HR practices drive business success and nurture a positive organizational culture.
The role also entails preparing and submitting monthly reports on departmental progress and accomplishments, while ensuring seamless communication across departments, supporting operational manpower requirements, and providing leadership through coaching and mentoring to optimize team performance.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; a Master’s Degree is preferred. A Juris Doctor degree is preferredAt least seven (7+) years of experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of five (5) years in a leadership or HR Head role, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
OthersDemonstrates in-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and labor regulations, setting a standard for compliance and informed HR decision-making unique to this role.Highly proficient in HR systems, data analytics, and KPI-driven performance management to enable strategic and operational objectives, including experience in HR process automation and use of digital tools (e.g., HRIS, Google Workspace, dashboards).Possesses strong presentation and reporting capabilities, delivering clear and impactful reports that translate data into actionable insights for senior leadership.Demonstrates a proactive, agile mindset, leads with integrity, and creates innovative, solution-oriented approaches to challenges.Gives and accepts constructive feedback, works effectively under pressure, and manages complex situations with professionalism and sound judgment.Demonstrates strong leadership by driving HR team success, maximizing resource efficiency, and building productive cross-departmental partnerships.Expert at leading large-scale organizational transformation, initiating measurable change, and sustaining high workforce engagement through complex transitions.Expertise in handling administrative cases, disciplinary processes, and employee relations, including documentation, hearings, and resolution.Applies strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and regulatory compliance (e.g., DOLE), managing audits and coordinating with government authorities.Collaborates effectively with senior leadership to align HR strategies with overall business direction and organizational priorities.Pursues continuous learning, professional growth, and ongoing improvement of HR processes and practices.
