Job Summary:
The position is primarily responsible for developing and implementing creative investor education programs aimed at educating the general public about PSE products and services so that they make informed decisions about investing in the Exchange; assisting investors with concerns and complaints by coordinating with other PSE departments as necessary; assist in the advancement and promotion of the Exchange as a business institution of the Philippine capital market.

I. Investor EducationLeads market environment scanning and identifies opportunities for information dissemination on how to invest in the stock market and the products and services being offered to the investing public.Takes the lead in organizing and developing a body of resources required in the implementation of various market education programs, such as lecturers, lecture materials, and graphic or multimedia instruction materials.Copy writes, designs, and produces collaterals, such as brochures, posters, books, handouts, video materials, etc., required by various market education programs.Initiates possible tie-ups, networking and membership affiliation or accreditation with advisory groups, networks, and coalitions for stock market education and information dissemination.Oversees the development of existing market education programs vis-à-vis current market trends and analyzes its worthiness or feasibility in relation to the business objectives set by the Department.
II. Business Plans/Budget ManagementSets the Department’s annual business plans and budget, oversees actual performance versus business plans and ensures that the Department is operating within the approved budget.Ensures the attainment of the Department’s annual business plans.
III. Policies and RulesSets the parameters in the drafting of policies relevant to rules and regulations of the Exchange in connection with stock market education.
IV. Leadership ManagementRecommends plans, programs, budget and performance targets of the department.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Banking and Finance, Economics, or any Management-related degree; preferably with a Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Management.Ten (10) years of experience in an executive or senior managerial.Capacity in investment banking, stock brokerage operations, or any marketing operations.Amenable to work on-site (BGC, Taguig City).

Job Summary:
The Risk Officer would primarily be responsible for assisting the Head of the Risk Management Office in the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework of the Exchange, as well as in the updating, review, and testing of the Business Continuity Management Policy and Plans of the Exchange.
The Risk Officer will also assist the Head of the Risk Management Office of the Exchange in the implementation of other risk-related initiatives and projects of the Risk Management Office.

These reports include materials for senior management as well as correspondences with external parties within and outside the Philippines. The position is likewise expected to be involved in corporate and strategic planning as well as in managing the communication between the Exchange’s corporate management and its investors.

ResearchPrepares economic and industry studies relevant to the development of the capital markets and the Exchange.Conducts market and sector studies for regular market index and classification updates.Provides information and analysis on current market issues that may be needed by the Exchange and its clients.Provides technical assistance in identifying and developing research initiatives for PSE activities.Processes relevant market data to be used in developing reports and other activities of the Exchange.Coordinates with other exchanges, advisory groups, networks and coalitions to strengthen information exchange with various market stakeholders.Represents the PSE, together with the department head, in the working groups of various international organizations including but not limited to, the ASEAN Exchanges, the WFE and AOSEF.Provides research and technical assistance as may be required to support the needs of the Office of the President or the Management.Oversees and reviews the output of the Corporate Planning and Research Analyst.
II. Corporate PlanningProvides assistance in formulating, monitoring and updating the Exchange’s business plan, including the conduct of the annual business planning session as well as the presentation of the proposed budget to the PSE Board of Directors and its key committees.Provides assistance in the regular conduct of performance reviews of the business plan.Provides assistance in formulating the strategic agenda of the Exchange.Coordinates with departments, other exchanges, advisory groups and networks to aid in planning and developing initiatives for PSE activities.Provides research and analysis on best practices in business planning and current market issues that may be needed by the Exchange and its stakeholders.Prepares presentation materials, reports, interview guides and surveys in relation to the Exchange’s business, including financial performance, to various stakeholders.
III. Investor RelationsProvides assistance in the development and implementation of an investor relations program/strategy for the Exchange.Gathers and processes financial and operational data on the company, as well as other comparable companies in the industry, for use in developing investor relations materials.Provides assistance to the Department Head and Management Committee in various shareholder engagement activities including, but not limited to, attending investor relations meetings and roadshows where PSE is a participant, preparation of minutes of investor calls, and development of materials for analyst briefings, investor calls, and other meetings or events relevant to investor relations.Establishes and manages relationships with key PSE stakeholders including, but not limited to, institutional investors, fund managers, trading participants, and research analysts; and proactively updates them with relevant company information, disclosures, and other company developments.Provides regular updates to the Department Head and Management Committee on the stock price movements of the company, including the impact of company-related or market-related news to the company’s stock price and liquidity.Maintains a database of existing or potential PSE investors/shareholders, and ensures the information on these contacts are regularly updated.Maintains the Exchange’s investor relations page, and ensures that key information and materials are updated in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.Experience: At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience in research in the field of capital markets or finance, investor relations, corporate planning, or financial management.Specific Knowledge: Corporate Planning, Technical Writing, Research.Willing to work on-site (BGC, Taguig City).
