THE ROLEThe Application Developer / Support Engineer will join the SaaS Service AI & Tooling team in Manila, developing, maintaining, and supporting internal tools and platforms including Temenos AI Ops — an AI integration platform connecting large language models with enterprise tools through the Model Context Protocol — and custom Atlassian Forge apps for Jira workflow automation.The key responsibilities include:Develop and maintain Python-based MCP servers integrating with enterprise APIs (Jira, Dynatrace, Azure)Build and maintain Atlassian Forge apps including custom UI panels, automation rules, and workflow extensionsDevelop front-end components using React for Forge Custom UI and internal tooling interfacesWrite and maintain Helm charts, Dockerfiles, and Terraform modules for AKS deploymentsProvision and manage Azure deployment infrastructure including AKS clusters, Container Registry, Key Vault, and Blob Storage using TerraformMonitor platform health and investigate production incidents across the AI Ops platform and Forge appsMaintain CI/CD pipelines in Bitbucket Pipelines and ArgoCD GitOps workflowsRespond to internal user requests, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production runbooks

REQUIREMENTS3–5 years of professional software development experience.1+ years working with containerised applications in a production environment.Experience supporting production systems including incident response, log analysis, and monitoring.Solid proficiency in Python 3.10+ with async/await patterns, type hints, and modern tooling.Comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript for web or Atlassian Forge development.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes fundamentals, and CI/CD pipelines.
SKILLSStrong knowledge of Claude and Microsoft CoPilotFastAPI or similar frameworks for building and consuming REST/HTTP services.Git proficiency including branching, pull requests, and merge conflict resolution.Terraform and Helm — reading, modifying, and extending infrastructure-as-code.Microsoft Azure — working knowledge of AKS, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Container Registry, and networking fundamentals.pytest or equivalent — writing unit and integration tests as part of regular development.Clear and concise communication — able to explain technical issues and solutions effectively.Self-sufficient execution — able to pick up tasks, implement, test, and deliver to production with clear direction.
