    Position SummaryAs the R&D Supervisor for Scentral Laboratories Inc.—the heart of product innovation for Suyen Corporation (Bench, Kashieca, Cotton On, etc.)—you will lead a team of chemists and researchers in the creation and improvement of personal care, fragrance, and cosmetic products. You are the bridge between creative marketing concepts and technical laboratory execution, ensuring that every product meets the high standards of the "Bench" brand and its affiliates.
    Key Responsibilities
    1. Product Development & FormulationOversee the end-to-end development of new formulations for fragrances, toiletries, and cosmetics.Guide the lab team in adjusting formulas to achieve desired aesthetics, stability, and cost-efficiency.Keep Suyen Corp at the forefront of trends by researching innovative ingredients and sustainable packaging solutions.
    2. Team Leadership & Laboratory ManagementSupervise daily lab operations, ensuring all chemists and technicians adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).Mentor junior staff on formulation techniques and troubleshooting batch inconsistencies.Manage project timelines to ensure product launches hit the shelves according to the retail calendar.
    3. Quality, Safety, and ComplianceEnsure all products comply with FDA Philippines regulations and international standards (IFRA for fragrances).Review stability testing results and micro-challenge tests to guarantee product shelf-life and safety.Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to transition successful lab-scale formulas to full-scale manufacturing.

    QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related science field.
