    Key Responsibilities:
    Timely record purchases and payments, reviewing and validating supporting documents before posting.Secure necessary approvals before cheque preparation and prepare bank transfer and telegraphic forms for foreign payments.Post correct and approved accounting entries, and prepare and release BIR 2307 to suppliers.Prepare monthly account schedules and investigate supplier activities, reconciling outstanding payables.Review liquidation and reimbursement of advances, and monitor fuel order issuance and consumption.Summarize unreleased and outstanding cheques, ensuring timely recording of supplier billings and payments while maintaining supplier and third-party records confidentially.Initiate data for tax filing and manage expenses to ensure tax compliance, recommending tax-saving initiatives.Identify and recommend areas for improvement while supporting other departments as needed.
    QualificationsA degree in Accountancy or a related field.A professional certification is a bonus.1+ years of relevant experience.Proficiency in MS Office/Accounting SoftwareKnowledge of Accounting Standards, Principles, Laws, and TaxationCan work on minimal supervision
