Position Accountability Statement:The Strategic Partnerships Lead is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing key external collaborations that advance Maxicare’s strategic objectives. This role will spearhead initiatives such as YAKAP, PhilHealth alignment, and other emerging partnerships across healthcare, government, and private sectors. The position requires a strong balance of relationship-building, strategic negotiation, and financial analysis to ensure that all partnerships deliver measurable value and align with Maxicare’s mission of accessible, sustainable healthcare.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Strategic Initiatives: Drive the end-to-end management of YAKAP, PhilHealth, and other partnership programs — from concept to implementation.External Engagement: Represent Maxicare in discussions with government agencies, healthcare networks, and institutional partners to pursue collaborativeprograms.Partnership Structuring: Evaluate and negotiate partnership terms, MOAs, and joint venture models that create long-term financial and strategic value.Financial Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses for proposed partnerships to assess commercial viability and sustainability.Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to operationalize partnership initiatives.Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and regularly track partnership outcomes against business targets and budget assumptions.Market Scanning: Identify new partnership opportunities in line with Maxicare’s growth agenda, public health priorities, and ecosystem expansion plans.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).Minimum 8–10 years of experience in strategic partnerships, corporate strategy, or business development.Strong financial and analytical acumen with experience in cost-benefit and NPV analysis.Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.Background in healthcare, insurance, or public-private partnership preferred.
