Responsibilities:Ensures accurate tax computation and prompt filing of documents as mandated by Government Authorities on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis as well as during an auditProactively participates in updating the Tax Manual, by reporting business gaps noted in the day to day operations, to ensure that business needs and recommended actions are properly considered in the ManualProactively participates in updating Tax Manual that specify the applicable laws, practices, and procedures for each tax type the Group is responsible forSupports the Tax Manager in conducting annual tax training and in the developing tax database for Group’s employeesDrafts and prepares guides to the Group employees in tax matters pertaining to their business areas and provide solutions to solve the tax issuesAssists the Tax Manager in the review of related party transaction structure and also transfers pricing transactions within the Group to avoid violation of tax lawsContributes in identifying opportunities to legally minimize the tax liability and also to reduce the effective annual tax rate of the Group considering the feasibility and practicality of the implementationKeeps abreast of both local and national tax laws and regulations, Group’s policies and procedures to ensure reasonable and value-adding tax practiceMaintains the highest ethical standards in all internal and external dealings and relationships
Requirements:Must be a college graduate with a degree in Finance, major in Accounting or equivalentMust be a Certified Public AccountantPreferably with three-year experience in preparing tax reconciliation and returns for a companyPreferably with three-year experience in supporting tax compliance reviewsPreferably with two-year experience in tax planningKnowledge of SAP is an advantage
