    Your RoleAs an AU Senior Accountant | Xero Software, you are responsible for:Prepare BAS and IAS for clients in line with ATO requirements.Prepare Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.Prepare financial statements, including depreciation schedules for review.Assist with preparation and reconciliation of CGT (Capital Gains Tax) returns as required.Respond to and manage client queries professionally and in a timely manner.Able to answer client’s email queries and liaise effectively to understand client needs and provide clear guidance.Identify opportunities for additional advisory services (tax planning).Assist senior accountant and general manager with tax planning and advisory projects.Reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and maintain accurate financial records using Xero (and other systems where required).Use Xero Practice Manager (XPM) for time recording, workflow management, and reporting.Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation for compliance and audit files.Support junior team members when required.Maintain high professional standards, ensuring all work is accurate, error-free, and client-ready.Participate in internal training, continuing professional development, and tax updates.
    Qualifications2+ years’ experience in public practice accounting in Australia.Proficient with Xero; experience with Xero Practice Manager preferred.Experience preparing BAS, IAS, financial statements, and tax returns across entity types.Strong understanding of Australian taxation legislation and compliance.Excellent communication skills.High attention to detail, analytical ability, and organisational skills.Accounting qualification or working towards certification is preferred.Ability to manage varied client groups and prioritise workload effectively.Capability to identify process improvements and technical solutions.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and accountability for their work.

    Your RoleAs an AU Accounts Payable Admin, you are responsible for:● Accurately enter supplier and subcontractor invoices, payment details, and purchase orderinformation into the accounting system.● Review and verify invoice details including supplier information, invoice numbers, dates,amounts, and supporting documentation.● Match invoices with corresponding purchase orders and work orders to ensure accuracy andapproval compliance.● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions within the accountingsystem.● Assist with invoice processing, approvals, and preparation of payments in accordance withcompany procedures.● Identify, investigate, and report discrepancies or errors in invoices, purchase orders, or dataentries.● Organise and maintain digital filing systems for invoices, purchase orders, and supportingfinancial documents.● Communicate with internal departments, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve invoice queriesor obtain missing information.● Support month-end closing processes by ensuring all invoices and financial data are enteredaccurately and on time.● Assist with reconciliation of supplier statements and accounts payable records where required.● Maintain confidentiality and security of financial and supplier information.● Follow company policies, procedures, and financial controls when processing financial data.● Provide general administrative support to the Accounts Payable or Finance team as required.Qualifications & Experience:● Previous experience in accounts payable, finance administration, or data entry roles isadvantageous.● Experience working with supplier invoices, purchase orders, and financial documentation.● Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.● Good organisational and time management skills.● Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.● Understanding of accounts payable processes and financial documentation.● Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel as well as Xero and MYOB● Strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external suppliers.
