We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to manage end‑to‑end logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring timely, cost‑effective, and compliant movement of goods from international suppliers through to local warehousing and store replenishment. This role will oversee freight coordination, shipment tracking, 3PL performance, inventory accuracy, and value‑added services, while proactively managing risks such as demurrage, damaged goods, and disposal requirements. The Supply Chain Specialist will also play a key role in cost control by validating shipping documents, optimizing landed costs through Free Trade Agreements, and ensuring billing accuracy and financial compliance.
What you'll be doing:As the Supply Chain Specialistof Anko in the Philippines, you will be the key brand representative in the market with responsibility for:
1. Logistics & Supply Chain Oversight Freight Management: Coordination with international freight forwarders and shipping lines for Certificates of Origin, other concerns with shipment orders. Shipment Tracking: Monitoring the whole supply chain cycle up until "Last Mile" from Philippine ports (like Manila South Harbor, MICP, NAIA) to the local warehouse (GR). Demurrage Control: Avoiding or at most, minimizing additional costs by ensuring containers are pulled out and returned within the "free time" period.Outbound Tracking: Store replenishment order and fulfillment monitoring and reverse logistics.3PL management: Monitoring of 3PL operations, service quality and accuracy, and KPIs management.Damaged Goods Handling: Act as support in coordinating and making follow ups on reports and claimsInventory Management: Maintain inventory accuracy in system for both the company and its 3PL, adjusting if necessary.Disposal Coordination: If any disposal is required, this role will coordinate with the 3PL to ensure the disposal process aligns with the company’s requirements.VAS (Value-Added Services) coordination: communicate ICC label and other VAS activity requests with the 3PL in accordance to importation, merchandising, and sales requirements.
2. Financial Management Cost Optimization: Reviewing landed cost computations and finding ways to utilize Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) like ACFTA or ATIGA to reduce duties. Document Verification: Ensuring the accuracy of Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Bills of Lading to avoid BOC "Alert Orders" or penalties.Billing Validation: Ensuring the correct rates are billed and supported by actual invoices.
To be successful in this role you'll have:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business. Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) is an advantage Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a product compliance role within retail, import/export, or manufacturing, with exposure to a variety of consumer product categories. We are looking for a Customs Compliance Executive to ensure full compliance with customs, tariff, and regulatory requirements for all import shipments, while serving as the primary liaison with the Bureau of Customs and other regulatory agencies. Customs & Regulatory Compliance BOC Liaison: Serves as the primary point of contact for the Bureau of Customs and ensuring all shipments comply with the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA).Tariff Classification (HSCode): Correctly classify goods under the ASEAN Harmonized Tariff Nomenclature (AHTN) to ensure accurate duty and tax payments in coordination with Product Compliance team, Brokers, and other internal stakeholders.License and Accreditations Management: Ensures all import related licenses are applied for and maintained, recommend accreditations that would be beneficial to the company.Risk Management: Ensure that the company is and will always be compliant to all Bureau of Customs memorandum orders and to all other government agencies; Primary point person should there audits initiated by any government agency.
2. Supply Chain SupportShipment Tracking: Serve as support (Clerical/Administrative) and/or alternate to the Supply Chain Specialist.
To be successful in this role you'll have:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business.Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) required. Experience: 5–10 years in logistics, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
